The following are the elected members of the SBCRHA Committee for 2010-2011.
Committee Meeting will generally be held on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 4.00pm unless this clashes with a public holiday or festive period or is otherwise agreed at a previous meeting. Venue: SBCR Club House (Kelab Saujana Utama), unless otherwise notified.
Committee Members Charter 1. Committee members shall make an earnest attempt to attend scheduled meetings. 2. Monthly committee meetings shall be held on the 2nd Sunday of the month unless agreed otherwise at a prior meeting. 3. Members who cannot attend scheduled meetings must inform other members who will be attending, prior to the meeting. 4. Members shall observe the importance of time. Meetings shall start and end on time. 5. Formal meetings shall not exceed 90 minutes. 6. Official meetings must at least be attended by the President or the Vice President, the Secretary or the Assistant Secretary and 4 other members of the committee; the constitution requires a quorum of 50% or 6 committee members to convene a meeting. 7. Decision making shall be on a consensus basis. 8. Members shall respect the views of others and allow others to have differing opinions. Once decisions are made, members shall accept and support the decision. 9. Meeting minutes shall be taken and distributed to all committee members via e-mail at least 1 week before the next meeting. Any correction of errors must be highlighted before the next meeting. 10. Official correspondences shall bear the signature of the President or Vice President and Secretary or Assistant Secretary. 11. Committee Membership is on a voluntary basis. As such all members will cooperate and share the responsibilities and workload of the committee. 12. Every member has an equal standing in the committee. Positions merely give structure to the organization. |
